Once you install a few shell plugins, things break in quiet ways: a bar slot points at a plugin that no longer
exists, two bindings fight over SUPER + F, a dependency was never installed. OmaLint finds those problems and
tells you what to do about them, in plain language.
Six checks
Plugin manifests, bar entries, keybinding conflicts, dependencies, stale or locally edited plugins, and shell log health. Every finding is rated ERROR, WARN or note, and a small bar widget shows the problem count at a glance.
Careful by design
It is read-only. The one exception is --fix, which backs up shell.json and shows you the diff first. It’s
written in the Python standard library only, and it passed the marketplace’s security re-review.
